A group of 40 people from around the world were invited to attend the first meeting of the World Nature Collaborative for Nature Education. The core group were selected for their knowledge and skill in this area, some people represented organisations and others, such as Claire, were there as distinguished individuals. The Outdoor Play Vision and Values written for Scotland were then used as part of a national statement. They have had a clear impact on Outdoor Play in the United Kingdom. Claire was invited to represent the United Kingdom and was honoured to do so. The nature collaborative will bring together people from across the world to share their knowledge and skill to create programmes, change practice and support anyone who wishes to work with children outside.
